C language

C programming was developed by Dennis Ritchie in the year 1972. It is an imperative procedural language with low-level access to memory. This middle-level programing language was developed as an aid to redesign the UNIX operating system. Many high-level languages like PHP, Java, JavaScript has taken various syntax from C programming. C language is widely used in embedded systems but can good importance in any enterprise application, games, graphics and many more. The C program is divided into 5 basic blocks

  • The header file
  • The main method declaration
  • The variable declaration
  • The Body
  • The Return statement.

With the advent of high-level languages that are more comprehensive, C programming has lost its popularity. But C programming still holds on when it comes to the wide works of embedded systems.
